The annual OJOA Concours d’Elegence was held this year on Sunday June 13 at the Ontario Science Center.The weather held out this year as morning started out as overcast with treats of rain but as the day progressed, the dark clouds and heavy rain of the previous year were no were nowhere to be seen.
Jaguar Canada's support for the club was in good evidence this year as were back to our customary 30 by 30 foot tent which dominates center of the site. It's the node of the cap to this year's Concour Chair, John Scopis, with who's planning and perseverance , the event went off smoothly without a hitch, which is not an easy task.
The club membership turnout was excellent as 65 members stopped by to sign the infamous "blue" book.The championship and driven classes continue to build as new and old club members try their hand at the elusive challenges of the perfect Jaguar. We returned to the Bistro this year as it was a more intimate venue for the dinner. The Caters out did themselves this year as it was an excellent dinner with a good selection of fair and large quantities.
We would like to thank John Scopis , the Judges ,all the volenteers ,Jaguar Canada, and the Ontario Science Center for their time and help in making the concours a success this year.
