OJOA 2010 Concours D'Elégance


The annual OJOA Concours d’Elegence was held this year on Sunday June 12 at the Ontario Science Center. It was well attended with a turnout of 45 cars including Display Cars.

	The Championship and Driven classes continue to build as new and old club members try their hand at the elusive challenges of the perfect Jaguar. The E-Types were well represented on thier 50th anniversary. Jaguar Canada's support for the club continued with thier donation of the 30 by 30 foot judging tent . Thank you goes to this year's Concour Chair, John Ogden, under who's guidence this year's event went off smoothly without a hitch, not an easy task.

The award's dinner was again held at the Bistro which is an intimate venue .The Caters again out did themselves this year as it was an excellent dinner with a good selection of fair and large quantities. We would like to thank John Ogden , the Judges ,all the volenteers ,Jaguar Canada, and the Ontario Science Center for their time and help in making the concours a success .

In addition to the JCNA trophies, the following club trophies were awarded:

The OJOA "Best Car in Show" Trophy for Championship Class to Gil Melo.
The Budds Trophy for highest score in Driven Class to Raul Rincon.
The Jaguar Canada Trophy for Judges choice in Chapionship Class to Gil Melo's Series 1 E-type.
The Mackie trophy for Judges choice in Drven Class to Nick Pyle Series 1½ E-Type.
