Brian Jamieson was the winner of the
2007 Jaguar Canada Trophy,
with his to-die-for Ser. III E-Type OTS.
This is the Judges' Choice award in Championship Division ... in other
words, Brian's spotless, heather-coloured E-Type
is the Championhip Class Jaguar that our judges would most like
to take home with them.
|
D'Arcy Black, with Diane Delorme, was the winner of the
2007 Robert Motors Cup,
for his 1998 XK8, with a score of 99.99

We're sure that Diane is just as pleased as D'Arcy

Linda Smith mans, er womans, the Admission Gate. Linda and Murray Smith
are rock-solid, perennial contributers
to OJOA events. That looks like Judge John Erskine, right,
heading to the field.
|
HIGH NOON: At 12 sharp, piper Jeff Retford, of Metropolitan Toronto
Police, piped Chief Judge John Taglione,
OJOA judges and other officials onto the Competition Field. It
marked the launch of the official portion
of the Concours d'Elegance.
|
Depending on which Division a Jaguar is entered, it can have as many as five judges.
|

The JAGUAR CANADA judging tent. This is where everything comes
together at OJOA's concours. It's the most important piece of
real estate. Period. It's under the JAGUAR CANADA tent that
our competition cars receive their judging.
|
Inside the JAGUAR CANADA judging tent. Here the three judging teams are
working on two Classic XK sports cars
and an XJS. Each judge has 15 minutes per car for his/her
adjudication, plus JCNA-supplied marking sheets.
For example: if you have four judges examining different parts of
your Jaguar, that works out to one full hour of
detailed, scrupulous assesment. These folks are serious about
what they do, are as the entrants.
